Jojoba oil
organic
The closest plant match to what your scalp already produces, which is why it conditions without the weight or the greasiness.
Castor Oil
organic (hexane-free)
Around 90% ricinoleic acid, which is what makes it dense enough to coat a strand and hold moisture in it. A little gives hair weight and shine. Pressed without solvents.
Marula Oil
Organic
Around 75% oleic acid, so it softens and adds gloss to the ends, and it is one of the most stable oils there is.
Vitamin E Oil
Antioxidant support for the formula and for your skin. Stabilises the oils and helps prevent them oxidising.
Rosemary Leaf Oil
Long used in scalp care, and naturally antioxidant. Also the reason this smells the way it does.
FULL INCI LIST
Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil* (Jojoba), Ricinus Communis Seed Oil* (Castor), Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil* (Marula), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary) *Denotes Certified Organic Ingredients.
Every ingredient earns its place.
The Zero List Zero parabens, phthalates, sulphates, silicones, PEGs, petrochemicals, palm oil, artificial fragrance. Why we exclude these
Nothing goes in unless it earns its place. These eight NEVER do. Here's why.
Parabens
Preservatives that absorb through skin and behave like a weak oestrogen once inside the body. Regulators call current levels safe. The long term picture is still being written, and we would rather not test it on your face. Our formulas are oil based and stable on their own, so there is no water here to preserve.
Phthalates
Hormone disruptors, linked most strongly to reproductive and developmental harm, and detectable in almost everyone tested. In skincare their only job is making synthetic fragrance cling. We do not use synthetic fragrance, so they never enter the formula.
Sulphates
Foaming detergents that strip the lipids holding your barrier together, leaving skin tight and quicker to react to whatever follows. We cleanse with oil, which lifts the day off and leaves the barrier where it belongs.
Silicones
They sit on the surface and perform smoothness without delivering any. This one is not about your health, it is about the water. Two of the most common, D4 and D5, are restricted in Europe for how long they persist once they wash down the drain. We use plant oils your skin absorbs, so the softness is yours.
PEGs
Made using ethylene oxide, which can leave traces of itself and 1,4-dioxane behind in the finished ingredient. Both are carcinogens. PEGs also make skin more permeable to whatever else is in the bottle. Where a formula needs to rinse clean, we use a plant derived emulsifier.
Petrochemicals
Refined from crude oil. Refining is meant to strip out the aromatic fraction, the part carrying the carcinogens. No label tells you whether it did. Independent testing keeps finding products where it didn't. That is a lot of trust in a step you cannot see, for an ingredient that seals the surface and feeds it nothing. Every oil in a Zero Zero formula comes from a plant you can name.
Palm oil
Refined at high heat, palm produces more glycidyl esters than any other vegetable oil. The body converts them to glycidol, a probable human carcinogen that European regulators refused to set a safe level for. That evidence comes from eating it, not wearing it. Skin absorbs what you put on it, and we're not interested in finding out where that line sits. The forest it came from is the other half of the answer. We formulate without palm, derivatives included.
Artificial fragrance
The single biggest cause of allergic reaction in cosmetics, and one word on a label can legally stand for dozens of compounds you will never be told about, phthalates among them. Every scent in a Zero Zero formula is an essential oil you can see on the list.
Real skin. Real words.

"My hair is frizzy and naturally quite dry. This hair oil was a LIFE SAVER! Leaves my hair feeling refreshed without the feeling of it being overly oily like I've experienced with other oils. My hair now feels smooth and dare I say, silky. It's made a huge difference in the look feel and even seen less fall out during washes."

"I've been using the ZERO ZERO hair oil mainly to help manage frizz, and it does the job really well. It smooths things out without weighing my hair down and leaves it much easier to style. A tiny amount is all you need, so 50ml will last for ages."

"Nourishing new ritual for my hair. I have to be honest, my hair is short and doesn't get a lot of attention.... until now. The smell of this oil is divine and it is a really lovely addition for my previously neglected hair!"

Questions, answered
Does natural skincare actually work as well as what I’m using now?
“The set made switching to natural skincare feel really easy. I had to get used to the oil cleanser, but I love it now. I can’t believe I used to think that tight and dry feeling after using foaming cleansers was actually a good thing! I’d never go back.”
“I was a bit sceptical of how it would work against my ordinary moisturiser. WOW! It literally made such a difference. It instantly made my skin feel so much better and over time now, my skin feel more nourished.”
Is it suited to sensitive skin?
“This is lovely and soothing when I get eczema. I often use it on my body when I get a flare up or on my face when I want a juicy rich night cream.”
“For someone with sensitive skin this works really well. I gave this a go based on the ingredients list, free from all the nasties, and it didn’t disappoint. It also seems to absorb really well.”
“I’ve lost count of how many products I’ve tried that promised to be gentle and then left me red and irritated. I was nervous trying something new again but Zero Zero has been completely different. The moisturiser is so calming and it doesn’t feel like it’s fighting my skin.”
Won’t adding oil to my skin make it greasy or cause breakouts?
“I’ll be honest, I was pretty sceptical at first. Adding more oil to my face didn’t seem like it would help, especially since I’ve got rosacea across my cheeks from sun damage and past laser hair removal. But this is the first one that’s actually made a noticeable difference. My skin feels less oily, my cheeks are smoother, and my overall complexion is a lot more even. I’ve even had people comment that my skin looks glowy, which as a man is not something I’ve ever been told before.”
“This is one of the only moisturisers I can use on my face. I got the Jojoba one and honestly I can’t even use plain jojoba on my face without breaking out but this product is different. No breakouts, glowing and nourished skin.”
When will I see results?
“I tried this all natural face moisturiser for a month and I’m in love! It’s deeply nourishing without feeling heavy, which is rare. My skin felt so soft and hydrated.”
“I’ve been using it for four months now. My skin is more even-toned than it’s been since my twenties. I’m converted.”
What if it doesn’t work for me?
“I have been using this cream now for over a year. I use it morning and night. It’s my favorite cream ever especially for my eyes.”
“Hydrating and doesn’t leave an oily residue on the skin, literally drinks it up leaving it to feel soft and hydrated. I’m converted.”
